Xun Guan 关珣
Xun received her B.S. degree in Materials Chemistry from University of Science and Technology Beijing, where she worked with Prof. Yue Zhang on photocatalytic nanomaterials. She obtained her Ph.D. in Chemistry at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), under the supervision of Prof. Chong Liu. Her doctoral research focused on engineering material–microbial interfaces for solar- and electricity-driven chemical transformations. She subsequently conducted postdoctoral research with Prof. Yi Cui at Stanford University, focusing on electrochemical processes at material–electrolyte interfaces for energy and environmental applications. Her research has been published in Nature Catalysis, PNAS, and ACS Nano.
In 2025, Xun joined Fudan University as an Assistant Professor. Her research focuses on understanding and controlling charge and matter transfer at advanced material interfaces, with applications in sustainable chemical synthesis, environmental remediation, and energy storage.
